Using Verbatim DVD-R disks with Vaio

Can anyone confirm that Verbatim branded DVD-R disks work ok with the AR61M or somthing else with the same MATSHITA BD-CMB UJ-120 drive.

Im having problems with uncompatable disks and have to try different brands.
