Skype unable to detect Webcam
Hi everyone
So I try to use the webcam for a skype conference this morning, and it tells me that it is unable to detect the webcam as it's probably being used by some other software.
Skype is the only messenger I use, so that's not possible.
I tried to look for similar problems, but the downloads suggested in this forum are not available (I get an error trying to open the page). Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Hi Ashwyn
Two possibilities:
Solution 1/
Certain Skype version may have conflict between the Camera Adapter and the Bluetooth.
-Click on Windows files.
-Click "System32" and search for this file "BtwVdpCapFilter.dll"
-Right Click on this file and rename it" BtwVdpCapFilter1.dll"
-Close the file and try Skype again...
If no luck then go back to the file and remove 1.
Solution 2/
Try to upgrade Skype to a newer version, the new one will certainly correct this issue.
Good luck.
