First of all a happy christmas to all of you. I have a question: While using my VAIO Pocket I noticed that everytime I press the STOP button or skip tracks WHILE a song is STILL PLAYING, the Vaio doesn´t cut off the song immediately. Instead of this the volume goes down a large step for about half a second and then the song stopps / it looks for the next song.
I guess it has somethng to do with the reaction time of the hard drive?
Can anybody explain this to me?
All the best,
Thomas
Happy christmas Thomas ,
Have you update to . This new Firmware , include a total of 34 updates
I found It help to stop that . I found It worked far better after the Firmware update .
I already updated the Vaio. But it still doesn´t stop the song immediately when you push the STOP button while the song is still playing. It´s not a major problem, though. I just wanted to know if this is normal...

check that demo mode is disabled, i think that could be it!
Happy Christmas one and all.
I can confirm that being in the DEMO mode does indeed slow the time down for the stop playing action. But even with DEMO mode set to off it is still rather tardy.
