Hi everyone, I have a laptop (a sony vaio vgn-nr11z/s) with vista home premium and since I bought I've never been able to connect to the Internet to more than 30 kb/s, I also led to repair it, they have restored it and they said that worked perfectly as a result of tests carried out by them. Searching on the web, I noticed that is a problem that afflicts many users of vista, there are several solutions, but none appears to solve my problem. So I thought of doing a partition with windows xp to see if it is only vista the culprit. I wanted to know how can I find drivers for xp? on the sony's web site there are only drivers for vista
Here is the first problem:
The system doesn't see hard disk in the machine
I used nLite to create the xp cd...
are the hard disk's drivers wrong?
this is my hd: Toshiba MK2035GSS 200gb
I have tried to PM you but there seems to be a problem with the server.
Although I think they are the same, I attach the files you get from the Intel Matrix Storage download.
When you are asked to select your configuration, the one you want to get is "ICH8M Sata AHCI driver for mobile".
damn vista, it was you!!!
with xp my connection is no more so slow!!
the s1, av and the fn buttons to adjust the brightness of the screen don't work, but I can adjust it from windows
thanks to all!!
