Hi everyone, I have a laptop (a sony vaio vgn-nr11z/s) with vista home premium and since I bought I've never been able to connect to the Internet to more than 30 kb/s, I also led to repair it, they have restored it and they said that worked perfectly as a result of tests carried out by them. Searching on the web, I noticed that is a problem that afflicts many users of vista, there are several solutions, but none appears to solve my problem. So I thought of doing a partition with windows xp to see if it is only vista the culprit. I wanted to know how can I find drivers for xp? on the sony's web site there are only drivers for vista
I found a guide but I can not find these things (obviously for XP):
Intel Matrix storage drivers
Intel 965GM Chipset Graphics drivers
Intel 965GM chipset INF install utility
Realtek HD audio codecs
someone can help me find them?
Get the XP driver for Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 and for Realtek ALC262 High Definition Audio Codec from the CR11 XP Downgrades here: -
ftp://ftp.vaio-link.com/PUB/OS/XPDOWNGRADE/CR1/DRIVERS/
You will need 2AUDIO.ZIP and 5VIDEO.ZIP. Don't forget to install KB888111 as XP cannot support high def audio by itself.
I have attached the Intel SATA drivers at the bottom of this post.

thank you very very very much, now I have drivers for the hd, the sound card, the video card, the network adapter and the wireless card, I think that should work ...
let's see if I can make it work...
edit: where's the KB888111 file? in the zip file there's only a file called KB835221
Hi Prelude90,
I have attached the KB835221 hotfix to this post..
I have already the KB835221 file (from the zip archive), but Blencogo said that the file to install is KB888111 ...
He has just wrong to write?
Hi Prelude90,
both hotfix KB888111 and KB835221 should work as they are both for High Definition Audio..
I have attached the KB888111 hotfix below as well..
thanks, tomorrow I'll try to install xp on the partition
You're welcome, good luck..
Good Luck!!
