How are you trying to extract this file?
Are you using Bios Installer Tool WinPhlash (also available for download).
This process is carried out in DOS and if you are unsure of the procedure I strongly recommend that you read up on it first as a failed Bios upgrade can ruin your computer!!

hi
i loaded winphlash intalled it an so on
my problem is, that i cant start the bios file
in the manuel (before the download starts) they write
1. Download the file R0247U0.exe, and save it to a download directory (ex. C:\Download\). <--- i made this
2. Go the download directory, and double-click R0247U0.exe. WinZip Self-Extractor program starts. <---- here the failure appears
3. Click Unzip. The file will be extracted to a new directory C:\R0245U0.
4. Click Close to exit WinZip Self-Extractor program.
i know how to flash a bios but i cant extract it 😞

Have you changed your operating system from the original configuration?

Also, rather than double clicking, have you tried right clicking and choosing the option 'extract to'?

Sorry if this has been suggested before but redownloading the file might help.

But did you restore with the recovery disks or carry out a fresh install with a different disk? If so, this is probably the cause of the problem.
