Nop, but I find a new option here... (177.92 is OUT) .
See the complete thread, because this 8400M series is supported.
or you can try the old option from Laptopvideo 162.15, here... . I saw a report indicating that works here.. (In German)

Cos this what happen is ridiculus. How old is VGN FZ21M?? how old is this graphic card?? where drivers are to nvidia...i have enuf vaio drivers some stupid movie makers etc i want proper drivers to everything in my laptop which i pay lots of money! So i hope SONY will take this mail seriously and start doing drivers to make people happy not confused.

Hi,
With the original drivers I'm able to play Battlefield 2 pretty well, I don't know if it works on newer games.
I also tried the laptopvideo2go drivers and it works. You need to follow the instructions on their website to manually overwrite an hacked .inf file before running the setup.exe.
Regards,
Luis

This is the latest driver 19 Aug 2008 Ver X 176.37 that will install on the 8400M GT. The original .INF already supports all mobile nVidia cards. Forceware drivers from the nVidia site will not install on mobile GPUs - only desktop PCI Express full size cards.
As with all these uprated drivers you should keep an eye on the GPU temperatures in view of recent worries about nVidia cards.
As always, the decision to use an updated driver is down to you.
