Pioneer DVR-K16D and Samsung DVD+R DL

Hi,

I bought this week my Vaio VGN-FS315B and wanted to test my DVD-burner with a Dual Layer disc. I went to a shop and bought the Samsung pleomax DVD+R DL 2.4X. After inserting the emty media in my Vaio, it does not recognise my disc. I tried it with 2 disc without succes.

I use NERO 6 to burn and following the info of Nero, my DVD-burner is a Pioneer DVR-K16D. A firmware update is nowhere to find.

Has anyone also problems like this and maybe what can I try to to fix it, or do I've to live with it?
