Sony MDR-EX71
I asked lots of people in specialist shops and they all recommended these so I bought some.
They are excellent and transformed the sound compared to the set that came with my Vaio.
Also made it LOUDER and I had to turn the BASS right back to neutral in the EQ as it sounded so good without.
They are the in-ear type and help keep out noise from people chatting or train etc.
Available in black or white for £35 or less.
I highly recommend the Sennheiser HD25 Headphones, they look awful but you will never hear sound reproduction like these babes!
£99 a pair, every part is replacable, non in ear either!
Sennheisser PX-100s, amazing cans with retro look and ultra light weight.
Try also:
1.) panasonic RP-HJE50
2.) sharp HP-MD33-S
The two above are in-ear buds and currently have the highest frequency responce in the market (the e2cs aren't as CLEAR).. they also have a very minimalist design.
The Pioneer CL-30 are also very good, but I wont recommend them because they are white.
The sharps will have to be imported (two versions from taiwan or japan)
Hi,
a good recommendation seems to be the KOSS Porta Pro. Very solid bass. It´s not an in-ear headphone, though.
Cheers,
Thomas
What about Sony's MDR-G54LP (Street Style)? Also Plantronics Audio 90 are good, but they have a mic because are for Pc Applications:smileyhappy:
Hi,
I do agree. I own a Koss Porta Pro and this is indeed a very well sounding headphone. But I will sell mine (Ebay :smileywink:)and buy a Sony MDR-V700DJ. Though the Sony is a lot more "bulky" it has a better overall performance.
And: The very best material for your Vaio Pocket is ATRAC3 Plus 256 - this is audiophile...
I've just bought Sennheiser P200 headphones and the difference in sound quality is phenomenal. Bought them at unbeatable.com for £30. Highly recommended.
