My battery is nearly dead

My battery for my Sony VAIO (VPCEB3F4E) is almost dead and I need some advice on what battery to purchase to replace it.

Hi loke2011,

Your safest, but not necessarily cheapest, option is to purchase a genuine battery from Sony.

We are aware that some replacement batteries simply don't work or require a BIOS tweek that in some instances has bricked the Vaio.

Your model was shipped with a VGP-BPS22 battery which can be purchased directly from Sony.

Your particular model is not in the list of supported products and although I am sure that this is the correct battery it may be prudent to contact your local store for confirmation prior to placing an order.
