lcd screen issues

I bought a sony vaio f series(VPCF11E4E) last year from DARTY.After using the laptop only for an year, i see a vertical bright green flash on the lcd screen of my laptop.what should i do?

Hi pivoki,

First try attaching an external monitor. If the green flash is not present on the external monitor it would suggest a problem with the notebook LCD screen.

If it is still present then enter the BOIS screen by tapping F2, at boot, when you see the Vaio logo. If the problem is still evident it would suggest a hardware as opposed to software (driver) problem.
