Hard drive Problems

hi, iv got a vgn s series and i have two hard drives, one is completly full and the over one hasnt got anything in it!...is there a way off making the other one the primary one or somthing?

please help

Honestly you really only have one hard drive but Sony in their infinite wisdom put two partitions on it,

The intention being that Windows XP and program files would reside on the C drive and you would put all your personal files on the D drive.

That way if you did a recovery your personal files would be safe on the D drive.

Welcome to the forum

You probably do not have two hard drives it is more than likely one drive partitioned.

You could move music files, images & even change my documents folder to the other drive, to free up some space.

To change 'My Documents' to the d drive,
select start>right click my documents>properties>
