Firmware 3.0

It´s here!
It´s new!
It´s fresh!
It´s SONY!

And i think SONY did it again!
The wait is over and it was worth!

Installation was easy and fast!
Booted up....:smileygrin:
Especially the time and date display after power-off is great!!!
Kudos SONY!

The included "skins" are some of them good and pleasant, others more girlie-loke....grrr.
HEY PEOPLE...go and design your own!
POST it!!!
Now we finally can customize ourself the PocketVaio-GREAT!!!

Scrolling is really faster, also the new display of songs is way better.
The songs now really play "gapless".....:smileywink:

The pictures also display now way faster than before, even in high-resolution the display time goes faster!!!

So finally (sure i´we not tested all improvements...) SONY did a good job with this firmware-update.
Hope SONY is continuing to improve it more from time to time and will give us finally the so much needed video-mode!!!

And finally not to forget the SonicStage v2.3!!! (update)

Now people, let´s here what u think and experience about V3.0!

Have to agree!! Happy with this update!! IT WORKS!!

Noticed a few things.

1. Lyrics now available on the play bar
2. Demo Mode - Not sure what it does yet
3. Song Display better thanks to new Two line option in the display menu
4. It is a lot quicker at photos, skipping tracks a bit quicker but there is still a delay but its not bad at all.
5. Skins will be nice but the four supplied aren't all that impressive

Anyone got any others?

anyone transferred mp3s to the vaio yet?

Yes...i did it (again)!!! :smileygrin:
No problems here:
-made a new folder on the root of the disk called mp3
-copyed some folder with songs on it
-disconnected the device via manager from the pc

Enjoyed the mp3 !!!:smileydancing:

Oh man it's great! I like the new Panda skin, the mp3 are perfectly played (i feared they would put some noise on mp3s to encourage us to encode them in attrac, but no it's ok):smileyhugs:

@nemo : You can use the new sonicstage to copy ur mp3 too (and still see the album pics), just select "do nothing" in the advanced copy option (well i've the french version and it's written "Ne pas transferer" but i think it's a translation error, it copys the mp3 and i have mp3 on the player (checked it )

Anyways cheer Sony u are now a way better than i pod :smileygrin: !

hold up here, i feel like i just got hit in the nuts... native mp3 playback is here... so i assumed we would get wma playback as well...... did we, i don't think so... at least sonicstage won't let me transfer wma without converting!!!!! please tell me i'm wrong
