FE41S Left click mouse button broken!!

Hi all

I have a FE41S and the left click button appears to be stuck down a little. It still kind of works but doesn't click either when it's pressed and can sometimes register a double click when only press once.

Can the cover come off for inspection?? Has anyone else experienced this??

Hi Shaun,

These buttons are quite complex to replace - this job is better left to Sony.

The replacement buttons can be bought from Nexttronics - it is part 8 numbered 266480701 here: -

You will need to remove the palmrest to get at the touchpad parts. This is not shown in any detail in the manual but it looks a big job.
