I've got a Vaio Pocket for Xmas & have done the ugrade but find I can't register with Gracenote. When I click Yes to the "Do you want to register now?" dialog, nothing happens.

I'm using Windows XP professional with SP2 added, my internet connection is BT broadband, I use Norton Firewall & Adaware but it doesn't work even if I disable all these (and the Windows firewall).

Does anyone know what I can do?

I had A slight problem register this , but I think It was more because, Gracenote was not online ... on a few occasions

Do you have Norton Internet Security on your system??

If so it will be blocking your connection to the CDDB server

You need to configure NIS to allow the connection.
Re install SS and norton will throw up the boxes again.
Set to automatically configure internet access for SS.
