Sony Bravia KDL-32RD430B

Hi,

At first, sorry for my english

We have a TV in the family. Exactly: Sony Bravia KDL-32RD430B

I would like to watch a movie through it via a USB stick. It's been a while ago (2 years, but still difficult), but I did not deal with it for a while and now that a family member asked me to tell him a series he just did not want to get together.

I would like to see a video, which one is in MKV format and it is over 1GB size. I tried, but the TV didnt recognize the file (nothing playable video in the media/video list)

About USB stick and video file, what I have to use to solve the problem :

Maximum how much big (GB) USB stick can I use?

How do I have to format the stick (Fat32, NTFS)? I think I need NTFS, because about my file sizes, but I am not sure that the TV can use it.

Can I use MKV file format, if dont, what kind of format do you preffer for me?

There are 2 USB inputs on the TV. Which is the best way to get a USB stick on the basis of your advice? Or it is not important?

Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

Hi,

Welcome to the community. There is a troubleshooting guide here to help solve issues with playback via USB.  You can also check the manual here for general information and here for guidance about supported file systems. Hope this helps.

Best wishes,
