KDL-40EX713 Turn off 'Beep' sound

I purchased a KDL-40EX713 recently and I am over the moon with its performance, except for one thing, which is driving me up the wall.

How do you switch off the 'Beep' sound, every time you press a button?

I have upgraded the firmware to the latest version, but there no 'Beep' option available in the sound menu.

Hi kenneve,

Try this..

Go to the Home menu..

Then browse to Settings..

Followed by Sound..

In the Sound menu click on Key Tone..

Select “Off” to turn the sound off..

Hopefully you should now get some peace and quite, if the key tone option is not there then please let us know what firmware version you are currenlty using..:smileyconfused:

What can I say! must be getting old.

I was looking at the other sound menu where you adjust Bass & Treble etc.

All OK now

I have just purchased a kdl-48w605b and am trying to turn off the key tones.

Unfortunately I do not have a key tones option in the sound menu.

Please can someone help

On my TV I went to 

"Home" on my remote

Scrolled down to "Settings"

Selected "Sound"

Then "System sounds" -> Off

Hi, my Sony Bravia KDL-52WL140 started making this non-stop beeping sound!  I've tried unplugging it for 5 minutes but the beeping sound doesn't stop! If fact when the power is off, the beeping gets louder and faster?!
