Xperia Mini Pro broken front glass

My phone fell and the front glass broke... Is it worth repairing it? Also, is the LCD fused with the front glass? I want to know it because only the external glass panel is broken, the display works normally, the LCD didn't crack and I found both only front glass and LCD + front glass available to buy.

I don't know if it's worth it because the phone still works normally: recognizes touch, the capacitive buttons work and the LCD is normal. So, what do you think? Should I repair it or buy a new phone?

I'd recommend you to hand your phone in for a check and also fix of the things that got broken. Contact your local Sony Mobile support and they can help you with the nearest service shop and information of how to proceed.

I took my mini pro to sony support and they said the glass is gonna cost me Rs.8500

The phone itself costs only Rs.12999

Is this info correct?
