Error: File could not be deleted. The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected.
Tried repairing the phone and tried to follow another article related to Xperia Arc S to resolve, but failed as I do not have Micro SD card at all.
Need your immediate help on this.

Also try to connect your phone to another PC just to see where is the problem.

you might be missing the drivers
turn off your phone > turn off your firewall and antivirus > press and hold Volume Down > while still holding the button connect the usb cable to your PC > do NOT release the button, wait few minutes while your PC download the drivers

Tried to follow the steps above - Error: Failed to download the device drivers as the phone is turned off.
When you turn on the phone, nothing happens.
I kept on holding the Volume down key, I got that message and waited for couple of minutes and nothing happened.
that's odd, does the LED turn green when you follow my steps (above)?

Yes, It does and then after few secs it will disappear and the phone starts charging.
Now nothing happens on the PC, no error, no popups
that's really odd try this
create a new admin account on your PC > then install SUS > restart your PC and try again
