Sony Ericsson K850i firmware help

Hello,

i don't like smartphones, so i bought a K850i.

I have the firmware R1CA037 and i want to update to the newest version R1FA035.
When i start SEUS or Sony Pc Companion and try to update, i get the message that i already have the newest version.

What can i do?

you will need a different program to flash your phone, check wotanserver

but with wotanserver i have so pay 2€ for the firmware and i lose my guarantee.

there isn't any other way around, you could contact your local Sony service center, but since you have the latest firmware there isn't anything they can do for you, perhaps the other firmware its for a different country or carrier/network.

But i don't have the latest firmware. (i looked after the version number under update service)

Maybe i call the service hotline.
