Ringtone Assigning

I have recently bought a New Xperia Ion LT28h & i am new to Android, here i want to assign different songs to different contacts which was possible in my previous mobiles like N72, N95 & N97. I also saw assigning in the contact, but every time i select a song & assign, it shows only default. Is there else where i have to change any settings to reflect different songs assigning?

Secondly i want to call a contact by saying the name, is it possible here?

Other thing is i want the phone to say name when it is ringing, i thing it is possible in Talk back, but i dont want it say all the other programs to speak, i want only to say the caller name or number.

can somebody help me.

you can set an specific ringtone

phonebook > select a contact > menu > edit the contact

although it's easier to use an app

Yes that is what i did, when i go to edit & see assign a ringtone, i am able to select a song & it plays then i clicked done & came to see only default ringtone. am i making anywhere mistake, pl guide....

if i press done once, it goes back to the previous page ( ie contact page)

that means i am unable to do it twice.

Is there any where lese option exits?
