Messaging icon shows 1 unread message but there isn't any

Whenever new texts come, the status bar on the mini pro notifies of the same. That is working fine.

But the messaging icon has a orange number 1 on it. I think that means 1 new message or 1 unread message or something. But it has been there since yesterday. I have already cleared all messages. deleted all. But the bright orange '1' is still there on my messaging icon.

Any one else having the same problem? And what should solve this?

I had the same problem, this workaround fixed it for me (Neo)!

I have the same problem and while texting myself works, I don't want to have to text myself several times a day.  There is obviously some kind of bug that needs working out!

guys chilax.. this is a minor issue compared to the cicada n xloud bugs..! its jus a small glitch.. it automatically solves wen yu get a new msg..! btw i didn encounter dis prob even once aft the firmware update...!
