How do I delete an entry on the calendar?

I'm using the default calendar application and i can edit an entry and remove all the details, but the entry remains there with "No subject" showing.

I can't figure out how to delete the entry althogether. I've upgraded my X8 to 2.1.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Peter

open the calendar app tap on the event -> tap on Edit event -> Change all events -> at the bottom tap on Delete -> tap on either only this event, this & future events or all events then press OK

Thanks for the help Uliwooly!

Yes - the "Delete appointment" is available at the bottom of the edit page when I scroll down past all the Details.

Thanks also for the extra info about doing it for a series of events.

I don't think I've ever needed to scroll below the "reminder" detail which is on page 1! With the other two buttons (save and cancel) up the top, I didn't expect the third option to be at the bottom. I should remember to always expect the unexpected.

anytime, remember to sync your calendar with Google, its easier to modify and there are better calendars on the market

Cheers Uliwooly,  - I like to keep my home appointments away from my work calendar, so I synch my work calendar to my google calendar (one-way) using the google calendar sync.

I sync my home desktop outlook from google (one-way again) so at home I have both my work and home appointments - and then I use the lovely MyPhoneExplorer app

https://market.android.com/details?id=com.fjsoft.myphoneexplorer.client

to sync my home outlook with the phone, so I also have a full list of all my appointments in my pocket.

It works well for me, as the Google sync runs every so often in the background on the PCs and keeps me updated. I either use wi-fi or cable to manually sync the phone. If I had a

cheap data plan I could set it up differently.....

My problem is that it can only change "all events". The option where you can change just one of the events in the series seems to have disappeared. Any explanation?
