Email notifications

I have turned off EVERY notification in preferences, and still I receive email notifications whenever there is a reply in a thread I have started or posted in on here . This is really annoying me now, anyone know how to squash this bug?

in your profile, on the right hand side, there's a box called "actions"
first, click on edit preferences and make sure you choose "no" for everything under email notification preferences
then, go back to your profile, and in the same box choose manage email notifications, select anything that might be in there and click on "remove selected notifications"

Thanks. The threads were selected in 'manage email notifications'. I'm surprised the main preferences settings don't override them really!
