Dose any users face touch screen issue after ICS update？

I've a touch screen issue after ICS update…

I can hardly input text since the screen doesn't give response to my touching…

It doesn't stop me to use the phone but I feel quite depressed when the screen doesn't give response...

i also have the same problems as u. i already done repair through PCC and SUS like 5 times yet, the problem still exists.

i run out of solutions..

I've solved the problem by sending my phone to the service center.

They have changed a new touch panel for me and the touch screen is working normally.

Cool_Gemini is not the only one with this problem. Why this touch problem happens to some people when they update ICS. Is this a result of inappropriate way of updating or faulty update or somehow the touch panel gets damaged after updating, any idea?  One of my friend had the same problem in Xperia Sola when he updated a minor update in Gingerbread before ICS came. Arnob you seem an unofficial guy here thats why I'm asking. In Bangladesh Sony does not have any service centre. So if the problem happens to me then the handset is gone forever. Share your opinion please. Though my SI 1261-8812 still to get ICS. What precaution should I take? Should I wait more even after ICS comes to my SI and see reviews of the users of same SI?
