bluetooth password connection

Hi there

I cannot remember my pasword for bluetooth connection  in my car (blue me ), my phone was updated to android 4.04 from I think 2.3, if i were to do a factory reset will it go back to 2.3 or just back to 4.04 with my personal data cleared.

The factory reset will not downgrade the Android version. Did you try with 0000?

Thanks for the information about the reset, when I paired my phone with Blue Me it generates a pass code of four numbers which you enter into your phone, and it is this number i cannot remember, I tried changing the name of the phone and it almost worked, but it did'nt.

So I think I might try a reset, tank you for your help
