A little clarification about battery in Xperia Sola..

Unlike most mobile phones where the guide says to avoid elongated or overnight charging, The user guide of Sola says extended charge does not affect battery and moreover recommends it for extended battery time. Is there any special technology behind this. I would just follow the guide and risk it if it wasn't for the non replaceable battery..!

If the charging circuit is properly done (ie stoping the charge when battery is full), battery will not suffer.

No problem with doing that with any phone.

Battery won't like to be at 100% for too long, but, it would need days, if not months, on the charger to feel some effect. And the way peaple use mobile phones makes sure that don't happen.

Battery won't like being fully deplated either.

Just use your phone and charge it when it need it Winking_Face

The phone will actually stop charging when it reaches 100% as well so this helps.
