Hello,u just update my sony xperia m2 d2303 yesterday for android version 4.4.4.i noticed that the notes app and some widget are lost..can somebody please help me how to recover these things bcause i hv many important things inside the note..thank you
Solved! Go to Solution.
Our development is of course trying to recover the data but as it looks now it will not be possible after all. But i do what i can and provide you with the latest information i have.
We are of course aware that the main issue here is not the app itself but that you need the notes you have saved.
Agree with RikTrik. If the notes app comes back without our old notes that's no use at all.
And there's no way I would be storing anything on there in the future, since Sony have demonstrated they are happy to indiscriminently delete it (along with the data) without any warning.
Just look how it sounds "Xperia care"!
First when i bought my M2, i was very disapointed with all the white backgrounds. Disapointed mainly because we dont have the option to change it to black
This is a device depending on battery, and this is unacceptable.
And now this happened, they permanently deleted our data, without any warrnings. Then there was silence more than a month. No apology, no explanation!!
Ofcourse Sony cant help us now. I dont think they collected the data before deleting. And if you saved some stuff since then, maybe sectors are overwrited. They can only bring back the app. But i think for those with backups should work. And did you guys tryed something like undelete software. Im just guessing.
There is only one good thing! I will never ever buy anything from this brand. And will make sure people i know wont make this mistake.
I'll not mention the surprice when i first used the camera.(15 years ago i had a webcam with same quality)...or the non-sliding glass...or the clamped volume!
I hadn't thought of pursueing legal action - I imagine the costs would be quite high - but if we all clubbed together? At the very best we might get a payout for the lost data.
Would this stand up in court, i.e. are there laws that organisations must not delete personal data of this kind?
It's amazing.
