Hello,u just update my sony xperia m2 d2303 yesterday for android version 4.4.4.i noticed that the notes app and some widget are lost..can somebody please help me how to recover these things bcause i hv many important things inside the note..thank you

Miccio I have tried reinstalling Notes but that doesn't bring your data back I'm afraid. You just get an empty notes.

SInce the Xperia M2 (D2303) Kit Kat Uodate (4.4.4) some Pre installed apps have gone missing such as ; Notes Voice Recorder and some others. Is there anyway to get these apps back. they have not been disabled nor deleted as you cannot delete pre installed apps. i hope there is a solution to this that will allow me to get these apps back because i had important notes and i cannot access them... Please help ASAP...

Notes - Sorry this seems to have been removed

Voice recorder is no longer a system app but it available from the Play store but called Audio recorder now

does anyone know EXACTLY how to install / reinstall Sony Notes app ?

This is an android system application which I suspect does not reside in Google PLAY

My notes app has unexpectedly been deleted after updating. I can't even begin to describe my frustation and since all the important information I had on there is gone forever and SONY has offered NO assistance in this regard, the only question I have right now (aside from how soon can I get the latest iPhone) is: WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD THE NOTES APP AGAIN as I'm facing difficulty finding the original one on the Play Store?

I cannot believe this. Notes gone, without any warning, any apology, or any solution. What an absolute sham. I've never had the experience of an update removing an application like this and getting rid of all your documents.

And please will an admin remove the "solved" claim in the opening post? Using Google Keep in the future is not a solution. The problem is our app and it's documents were deleted without any warning and people have lost valuable information that we can't get back. This is unacceptable.

Thanx to thommo got the app bck altho lost prev notes thankfully didnt have much. This is the first sony phone i have bought usualy go for samsung but i think it wil b the last as stunned that sony wud treat people like this and take of app of this type - disgraceful
