Hello everyone, I have upgraded my m2 to lollipop and all was right until yesterday when I used here maps. I set my destination and GPS found my position, but after a bit it lost signal, and after a bit it found me, after a bit it lost me, etc..... I tried with Google maps but it was the same, I tried this morning and same as yesterday... I am the only one with this issue?

I have the smae problem after upgrade fone to Lollipo.

GPS dosn't work correct

Fix satelite very fast but didn't fix for more then 2-5 s and then lost it and fix it again after few second. fix and lost GPS again and again......

I try everything what was mentioned on this side:

- restart fone to factory setings: not function

- clear *Google place history: function for a while, mean 30s

- turn on Plaine mode: function fo a while, 120s

- reinstal Lollipo with PC companion: not work at all

- switg GPS seting to use only satelite: work cca 5min

any sugestion solution from SONY side, when SONY fix this topic????

Downgrading the file /etc/gps.conf to the KK version (you need root) does seem to work. I just triple checked now after testing it for a couple of days. Also a friend of mine confirms that after the mod it has been working for the last few days.

It gets and keeps the position even from indoor (near a window, obviously). GPS Status shows that it updates every second (while in stock Lollipop it gets stuck and then resets). You can find the instructions and the link to a copy of the KK gps.conf in here.

OK: I've tried 3 times to flash to KK 4.4.4 using the latest Flash Tool (Emma), but it seems to keep flashing 5.1. It *tells* me it's successfully flashed 4.4.4, but all I've got on my phone each time is 5.1.

Any help?

Hi everyone. I am facing the same problems with gps sine I upgraded to lollipop. With kitkat all related gps software worked perfectly.
But now, every time I go out running all I hear through the earphones is gps signal lost-gps signal restored every 10'.

Does anybody know how to downgrade to kitkat safely?

SONY, do you really tested lollipop before releasing?

I have exactly the same problem with lollipop. GPS only works for 10 seconds. When will sony release an update what fix this issue???? I hope it wont take months...........

Hi. Having problems too. Xperia M2 upgraded to Lollipop and now GPS is not stable. Picks me up then looses signal. Can't use any navigation apps.

It's time that Sony completed the test phase (field test). There are plenty of results.
1. GPS: failed
2. Camera: failed
3. Standby Current: failed
4. ....
With the current software, the M2 is not much more than a brick with a few phone funktions.

@SONY: When is the next lollipop version available and which bugs are fixed?

Do not hope that all frustrated M2-users buy a new Sony!
