GPS issues after lollipop

Hello everyone, I have upgraded my m2 to lollipop and all was right until yesterday when I used here maps. I set my destination and GPS found my position, but after a bit it lost signal, and after a bit it found me, after a bit it lost me, etc..... I tried with Google maps but it was the same, I tried this morning and same as yesterday... I am the only one with this issue?

(sorry for my English)

Good hint.
Switch airplane mode on: GPS works
Switch airplane mode off: GPS continues working !!!!!
It was just a short test. I think the Xperia M2 has a great piece of software.

I have the same gps issue after lollipop update on Xperia M2 like everyone in this thread, and I had the same experience today: switching off-on airplane mode temporarily recover gps signal, but for uncertain time. Uncertain means more than 1 hour sometime, but may be seconds. No pattern. The gps is ruined. I hope Sony will come out with a fix. Slightly_frowning_Face

U got two solutions. First is downgrade smart to kitkat 4.4.4 and second is use external bluetooth gps device like evolve eXtravel, Which I use.

Apk "GPS test" works fine. Programs to navi doesnt works. Maybe sony and lolipop is ok? Maybe autors of apk must update apps?

Apk GPS test does not show continous GPS location fix clearly. Try GPS Status & toolbox APK and you can see that fixes stopped working sometimes.

In android KitKat when i connect my phone to car headset -  Android showed up information about pairing, and then phone book access.

In 5.1.1 after update i cant connect my phone because new android forces access to adress book, and in settings is no way to change it. With phone book access phone and car are disconnect.

This update is terrible. I cant use this phone in car because GPS will not work and there is a problem with bluetooth....

Sorry for my english..

yep, to add to the GPS issue I have (we all have.) I've also just noticed the Bluetooth music streaming to my car stutters after a while. resetting the bluetooth seems to correct but after a few songs, or skipping tracks, it starts stuttering again.

My M2 aqua is unrooted, is their a way to roll back my phone to KitKat? that was perfect....dunno why I updated it??!! Crying_Face

You can roll back to Kit Kat with Flashtool, there is no need to root. With Xperifirm, which is integrated in Flashtool, will you'll find the previous firmware from your operator.

I have downgraded to Jelly Bean 4.3 because I think it has no bugs that newer versions suffer from.
