4G Availablity on Experia M2 Dual D2302 - Page 2 - Sony

I'm somewhat confused as to whether 4G is available on this variant of the M2. Sony says it is, as to many retailers own websites, yet some user forums say it isn't. I have a 3 SIM and am in a 4G area, but it is not showing 4G as being available, only 2 or 3G. It certainly seems to be an option, if you do *#*#4636#*#* it appears as an option, but selecting that option makes no difference!

Anyone out there actually got 4G (in the UK) on this model variant, and, if so, did you have to make any chanegs to settings? (Running Kit Kat, I should mention).

Could you please elaborate? If you are looking for your Wi-Fi password, you should look at your router or contact your network provider for further information.

I have M2 Aqua (D2403). My provider gave me a 4g plan and a 4G sim.

I have my device set on 4G preffered network, and I am in a 4G area.

How do I know if it's on 4G, as there are no icons that say 4G.

Also, when mobile data is on the signal icon has an H+ above.Is that it?

If your in 4G network it should show as "LTE" in place of H+

Please update Sony m2 2302 in 4G this mobile is to good but not 4G so please

guys.....on trying the number *#*#4636#*#* it do allows to change network type into LTE mode.

i tried the LTE/WCDMA mode and my in my M2 D2302 (Lollipop) myPreferred network type shows LTE(preferred)/WCDMA/GSM.

but it is only can change for the SIM inserted in slot 1.

it has no changes for SIM 2.

The only M2 capable of receiving 4g is the D2303 model the dual is only capable of receiving 3g

You receive 4g network

There isn't a way to make a 3G phone into a 4G phone, its a hardware limitation.
