the mount internal storage option has disappeared after the new update

I updated my Xperia l two days ago...
After I started the phone my internal storage was lost... And when I went to the storage option in settings there was no option to mount internal storage.. I had to clear internal storage and then it showed me 4.1 gb available...
But again when I restarted my phone everything was lost.
Please help...

Try to clear data for media storage under settings > apps > all > media storage. Restart phone and wait for the phone to index all media files again. Also check that you haven't any '.nomedia' file in the root folder on the internal storage when you connect your phone to a computer. 

If you don't get your content back I suggest that you repair the phone software using PC Companion to prevent this for happening in the future:

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phones software > "Repair phone".

I have same problem too.
I try to flash, factory reset, repair with sony pcc, but it still shown 0.00B on my internal storage. I've to clear it first to make my internal back to normal, then its back to 0.00B after reboot   Please help !!
