HT-CT660 sound bar - sound control from Sky remote

Could anyone advise as to how I can control the sound on my new Sony HT-CT660 sound bar using my Sky remote? If possible, what is the code? The supplied paper instructions are frankly baffling. Thanks.

I have had a quick Google, and the codes SONY use appear to be 1086 or 1186 or 1286 or 1786

None of these codes have worked, tried these and more from online but nothing worked. I am frustrated simply because I had it working before now.
