Docking Station - phone wont dock

Evening

I have a problem with my Sony Docking Station RDP-M5iP

I have had it just under a year and been working fine till yesterday

I can no longer dock my i phone on - the green light works but the phone will just not dock

any ideas ?

What is your Apple device and OS?

Apple forum is full of users having dock speakers issue when they have Iphone4S+IOS6
