trying to register extended warranty

When I bought my camera i was given a years extended warranty......... so I have been trying to register it.

Every time I put in the date in the format that asked for it won't accept it .......the date I am trying to put in is 12/10/2019 I keep getting this message    PLEASE ENTER A VALUE GREATER THAN OR EQUAL TO 1962-11-12. !!!!

I also had the problem

It was resolved by changing to using EDGE web browser and the date was accepted first time

The suggestion it was a browser problem came from SONY as a throwaway line
