RX10mk3 f number

Hello - 

For the last few weeks my RX10m3 has been unable to go below f2.8 to its f2.4 extreme, even in fully wide zoom, which it used to do fine.  Has anyone else experienced this and knows how to solve the problem, please?  I've tried all the obvious stuff such as turning off, switching from smooth to stepped f-stop ring operation.

Many thanks for the reply.  I have never connected the camera to any other device, so I imagine this is not a software problem, especially as the function is a physical one (manual dial adjustment).  I noticed that I was able to reach f2.4 intermittently for a few weeks before it became impossible altogether, so this also leads me to suspect a physical problem.

Is it possible for a software age issue to prevent access to one end of the range of f stops?
