I have a Handycam but my laptop has no i.Link/Firewire port.
Will an adapter work? Where do I get one?

Which Handycam do you have?
What connections does your laptop have? Does it have an Expresscard 34 Slot?

The DCR-HC35E has a USB Connection on the Station Base (Numbered 1 below)
You will need to buy a USB Type A to USB Type B Mini cable like this one: -

Hi. I have one of those cables already and it allows me to transfer photos from the DCR-HC35E but not film footage. Still looking to see if theres a firewire adaptor to USB port. Or even the possibility of an external card reader or hub...have you come across anything like this? Thanks.
I read some of the other questions and wonder if the following would help me?
Can someone advise, thanks.
