Hi Marrico,
Welcome to the community.
We'll see if we can find any information about this for you.
Best wishes,
Ed
Thank you Ed I have 50 or so tapes to convert to DVD but one tape is stuck in the machine and a service manual would help to open. The alternative is to go by common sense and hope for the best, I am familiar with electronics but some of these compact new machine have a rather complicated asembly sequence

Hi Marrico
I seem to recall in the past we have seen this problem but I cannot find the link!
I am reluctant to reply from memory because the suggestion does sound very silly!
On occasions one or some of the tape transport mechanism can become mis-aligned or the rubber on the drive wheel can come off and jam the eject mechanism.
I only remember the suggested cure because it is an unlikely fix.
From memory, you turn the camcorder upside down and give it a couple of sharp smacks on the bottom! Presumably, in the cases where this worked, it can move the obstructing part and release the mechanism.
May be worth a try as it will only take seconds.
Hi Marrico39,
I've found this document online, it's a scanned version of the manual but it's the best I could get: http://clc.am/APyyug.
Hope this helps,

Thank you all
I will try the suggerstion given. Failing if any of you have or know where a maintenance/service manual can be found would be greatley appreciated
