Hello there just a quick question is it normal for my Sony bravia TV to show up as chongqing fugui electronics co ltd will connect to my home network.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @Dwayne97 chongqing fugui electronics co ltd are apparently a major manufacturer of wireless network cards. So if you are connected via WiFi then it looks like Sony has used one of their network cards in your TV.
Hi @Dwayne97 Sony Bravia is a generic name for all types of Sony TVs. What is the full model number of your TV. It will start with KD or XR.
My TV is a Sony KD-65XG8505.
But when i check my hub its shows the manufacturer as chongqing fugui electronics co. ltd.
Yano where yours says your manufacturers sony corporation im just abit worried mines showing something different.
Check your hub? What hub? And what’s the software on the hub?
And why would you believe it over what the TV itself tells you? I take it you have asked the TV who made it, in an About in the menu settings, checked the label on the back, the box it came in, the inadequate handbook it comes with?
And where did you buy it from? An authorised Sony dealer, or Temu, or where?
The Hub the tvs connected to is Virgin media's hub5 and the TV is a offical sony tv witch was brought from Currys uk. Just found it odd that it showed up on the hub like that because its never shown like that before.
What did they say over on the Virgin Community when you asked them about this Virgin problem with a Virgin product? 😛
