Today I can see a new firmware is available through TV settings.
But, I do not see this available for download and install from usb.

The tv is connected to the internet and after quick tests I can confirm other video apps such as youtube and Amazon Prime are functional.
And I am with BT and my hub is a BT Home Hub 5!
Ive just attempted to load up netflix on my 2016 tv. I cannot get past the initial 'netflix' splash screen where the red circle icon just keeps going around and around.
How far do you get?

My NETFLIX also does not Start. Red circle spinning all the time. BACK button does not respond. Forced ti stop? by Home button.
Cleared Settings-Apps-System app-Enjoy Netflix more anytime, cache and data.

but didn't solve problem. I do not have an account but app does not start.

Thats what im experiencing. I do have a netflix account, but not active. But app fails to load
I am also unablee to move past the splash screen with the red circle icon going around and around.
Issue is in Sony hands now. it seems different issues depending if your account was already setup on the tv or not.
Advise to wait and do nothing about netflix until Sony advise further now.

I did try to make an account but when they asked for a credit or bank account FOR A TRIAL PERIOD, I stopped.
I don't like this kind of people
Anyway I start adding my issues in an previous answer and I will inform later in an other new post.
Too many problems with electronics lately. Today I send back my new Lenovo B70-80 to Lenovo because they had used a problematic Elan touchpad although they knew issue with those touchpads since 2012. I don't know what to say anymore
How come and UK got an update before the rest of Europe..?
