I wonder if anyone can help with an annoying problem I’ve been having with my AF9 TV. I bought some ambient lighting backlight strips from luminoodle which plug into the USB port and stick to the back of the TV (cool white). They have been working perfectly whilst then TV is turned on but when I switch the TV off the backlighting comes on and off all night and day when I’m not watching the TV! I want them to come be on when the TV is on and then go off (and stay off) when I turn the TV is off. Any ideas on settings I can change to stop this power surge of whatever is causing this to happen?
The TV alternates between standby mode and true standby mode, the first one being a powered state in which it checks for updates, channels and guide information, etc. and the other one is a very low powered state.
The strips turn On and Off when it alternates between those states, and it can't be changed by any settings unfortunately, it's just how the TV works.

Unfortunately, anything you connect/power through the TV's USB ports will always have the same issue.
Unless you plan on taking the USB cable out every night, I'd recommend getting a remote controlled/smart system (like Philips Hue for example) or find an alternate way of powering them.
