Hello. I recently purchased a brand new tv (KD55XF8096) from the official sony store and after a couple of weeks I experienced some image retention that would go away after a few minutes and would come back every time a static image was projected onto the screen for more than a few minutes. I checked the online guarantee guide and it says that the guarantee does not cover for "Persistent image retention (burn-in) caused by constant projection of the same image or images.".
Would this apply to a brand new tv aswell? Is there any chance that I can get it fixed for free or even get a replacement?
