Sometimes when I switch channels on the Virgin TIVO box teh sound goes off.
I am using a soundbar of which is connected via a optical cable to the TV . The V6 box is connected via HDMI cable to HDMI 1 ( the TV has ARC on the HDMI 3 socket).
Today I used the You Tube APP on the TV and when I came out and switched back to Virgin TV there was no sound from the TV OR Soundbar.
Tried restarting all items seperately and did not clear and ended up having to switch everything off at the mains socket and wait 2-3 minutes before powering back up,

Could you please give us the model number of your TV? And your soundbar too, if it is a Sony one.
