New to the Community having recently bought the A80J 55". Great tv and have set it up to my satisfaction but one thing bugs me, although to be fair its a minor point, I can't find how to get the "Show weather for your area" option to work. I have gone into Ambient Mode and set the temperature to centigrade and pressed Start now but nothing happens. Perhaps I should go back to looking out of the window to assess the weather.☂️

-Unplug the TV from the mains and restart your router.
-Update the TV:
-Test on a personal hotspot connected to your TV instead of Wi-Fi.
-Perform a full reset: https://helpguide.sony.net/tv/iaep1/v1/en/08-01_03.html?hl=factory

Hey, can you try and clear cached data on your TV by pressing Home - Settings - System - Storage - Internal Shared Storage - Cached data - Clear. Also can you check if you have a google account registered on your TV? I hope this helps.

I have cleared the cached data, reset the weather option and pressed "Start now". All that did was bring up the clock screensaver but no weather related information. Yes I do have a Google account registered to the TV. Thanks for your response I appreciate you trying to help.
