Can I connect to a Mac Mini?

Hi, I have owned an NEX5N since 2010 and I get on very well with it. I have recently upgraded my computer from a very slow windows 98 system to a Mac Mini. My question is, can I safely connect my NEX to it via a USB 3 port?

Hi and welcome! Firstly I would have to congratulate you on the move from Windows 98 to a newer operating system. I have long forgotten the last time I used Win 98.

As for connecting you camera, it will be perfectly fine. Just to safely disconnect your NEX after using it with your Mac. What you will find is the software might vary slightly. If you shoot in RAW, I do enjoy using Lightroom or you have the choice of using Aperture.

Thanks for that. I was nervous about either corrupting my Camara or mac. I will have a go seting it up
