If either the SD or SIM card are old or have a defect, they would affect any device they're inserted to. check the phone without each one individually to isolate the root cause.
Also try safe mode, it just leaves the preinstalled software and apps running, disabling anything downloaded, which lets you know if any of which is causing the issue.
From your restart menu, press and hold on the "power off" until it asks if you'd like to restart in safe mode, you agree. give it a run using the phone and see what happens, if it's gone, then clean up the phone, delete the apps you don't need and maybe factory reset it.
