Major problem occurred !!

Mini VAIO (file transfer program)refuses to transfer-convert all kinds of files!!
I¿m working with my VAIO VGN-A297xp(win XP pro sp2),
tried to uninstall all programs and devises installed prior to problem start point, and also tried to recover the system rolling back to previous date.
Later I reinstall the VGF-AP1L software (SonicStage2.1+inclouded updates) in Vain.

Please help !
Ps .I also (Hard )reset the player and formatted the disk too .

What files are you trying to convert and what software are you using?

Music files? Sonicstage?

The software I use is the original SonicStage 2.2 and the
VAIO music transfer 1.1.00 Open GM SecreModule
4.0.00.05270.
*mp3, *.wma etc.
All music files

So, if I understand correctly, you are trying to convert MP3 to ATRAC?

SonicStage should do this without any trouble.

Tellngd,
That 's exactly the point!
Everything was working fine for a day or two.
Something went wrong and I keep receiving
¿Unable to convert file ****.mp3 due to unknown Error¿

Thank you, anyway.

Sounds like SS may have gone pearshaped :slight_frown:

Try re-installing it - BTW make sure you take regular backups of your music database if you use SS as your main 'music manager' - it can be a little unreliable.

How about converting to WAV before ATRAC?

Have you tried getting the Microsoft update yet?

Have a look HERE, credit goes to Titane for discovering this link.
