SLT-A77V Panorama mode fails

Hi,

The panorama function worked very well in the past. And now, with the same Lenses, it stops with the hint to move slowly. Steadyshot is activated, but there is an (!) behind the Steadyshot symbol. Body and lenses had been always at the Sony service, but the answer is: "Camera and lenses are OK". But not to have a Panorama function is not OK!

I assume the service (Geissler) is not able to check this Item seriously.

Camera has been reseted, Firmware is the newest available. - any ideas for solving?

Is there any Sony manufacturers service point?

Thanks in advance

Its a strange thing, because "Geissler" service in germany is the one and only certified by Sony...

Just they told me that the camera / body is OK and repaired the TAMRON Lens => OK now. But they did not check the Panorama function resp. did not answer this Item. but it fails as before.

German Sony hotline suggested me to send the Camera + Lens agin to Geissler.

But i am not happy with this imagination, since i´ve had sent this items already two tims before witout any success.

So i think i will stitch the panoramas in future with software solutions :frowning2:

Any other ideas?

Please could you try using a faster SD card - 95mb+ ?

It could be that the SD card is struggling to write the individual photos to the card.

Worth a try 🙂
