After halted and new update which sony released recently, the volume level of z5p's top and bottom speakers are at different level. Top has more volume and bass compared to bottom ones. Because of this the stereo effect has been gone and its not good anymore to listen music or other related. Try to fix this sony please

Its an bug with the calibration i think. Sony hear your customers opinions!!

Guys, I've figured why there is no react from Sony, they can't hear us 'cause theirs phones have low volume bug too.

Yes.. I am experiencing it with my Z5 Compact also. Mine is top speaker volume lower than bottom speaker. Especially playing media apps. When checked in service test, sounds liek the top speaker volume is limited by something

Have done almost everything to repair and reinstall the re-issued .376 from scratch.. still the same..

I just notice not only music volume low.
Facebook youtube all volume super low not even can hear it unless put my ear near to top speaker!

Come on sony fix the Nougat software problem dont give worng info to your customer.

Just an update on the issue. Media volume has balanced out itself (Youtube, Music,Games,...) overnight. Yesterday night I turned off all the volumes (ring, media, alarm) then restarted the device. After that I turned them back up to the correct levels. It still didn't fix the problem then. However this morning, the media volume suddenly restored to correct balance on the speakers.

But I also checked on the call ringtone, the balance on this however, is still towards the bottom speaker

Additionally the media volume on Youtube, VLC Player and MX Player still seems to be lower than the built in Music app. Game volumes are normal though. Dial pad tones on phone app are very loud and balanced, annoyingly much louder than Android 6.0.

Weirddd... I'm just gonna leave it be until Sony ACTUALLY irons out the volume bugs in Nougat.. Hopefully Sony REALLY LISTENS this time!!!!

Same here to, my xz5 dual after update
1.very soft call ringtone even max volume. And also 2.unbalance sound on speaker, top speaker louder than below speaker.
3.laggy performed, not smooth like before update.
Hope this fix soon.

Anyone have new update about how to fix the unbalanced speaker and super low volume?
pc companion repair / hard reset / listen music over night all cant fix my problem.
